The "Satanists" I've heard about in America are just LARPing. It's cosplay.
Their real religions are scientism, consumerism, and individualism, like everybody else.
There were real Satanists in Europe in the 19th century and before, who took it seriously and believed they were risking their eternal souls. Much more respectable, in my opinion.
