Jesus, meek and mild, invented hell. Nothing else he ever had to say matters, because, as he told it, people who disagreed with him would be thrown in divine Gitmo, subject to godly enhanced interrogation, for all that amounts to.
"Jesus" is not..is......not...a permissive figure for our societies today. "Jesus" is some retrograde bullshit who will hurt you if you don't agree. Period. There's no rehabilitating christianity. It is what is is. It is what it's been for 2k years. Bluntly, chirstian belief....is evil. Full stop.
Feel you. God in the bible compares people to his treasured possesion, sheep, clay that he can shape in to whatever he wants. After reading those verses I regreted being born sometimes. I am being viewed as almost like a slave by God. Thats tough. Yet there isn't anything I can do.
Jesus while being a proud asshole, makes really beautiful verses as well. I can see while so many people like him because of it.
