What we observe is exactly what one would expect to observe if there were no god. 

I think ntelligent life isn't expected if there were no god

There is not one example of it's intervention.
When and if it ever saves some children from a suicide bomber, maybe it might cause a re-look. No one will hold their breath.

This life isn't the whole story and God knows this. Everyone will get what they deserve in end times
