Joe Manchin is a local guy, he's really got no pull among Democrats on a national level. If he were to run, the only state he could possibly carry would be West Virgina, with its five electoral votes. If 2024 turns out to be a repeat of 2020, this would give Biden 301 electoral votes to Trump's 232.
Manchin is not a factor.

American Dems detest him for his hamstringing Biden's agenda. Manchin as a result would likely pull independents leaning Trump but distrustful of him.
