American Dems detest him for his hamstringing Biden's agenda. Manchin as a result would likely pull independents leaning Trump but distrustful of him.
A sign of the disfunction of the Democratic Party is Manchin and Sinema have neither been found in the dumpster with their hamstring torn out with dull hooks.
