We raise the money to take aid to all that we can, we realize that giving help to others is the most important thing we can do, this example comes from Christ's teachings and his actions and we do our best to follow this.

We help to build schools and hospitals and give them the books, including the Bible, to help them educate themselves. We take medicines into areas and without government help.

Haiti, is just one example, this to is where I wanted to go on a mission trip to help children with AIDS.

Some of our missionaries must raise their own support through local churches, they put themselves through school learning all they can of the new culture they will enter and the language of the peoples they will help. A great deal of our missionaries live near poverty to help others, they not only give of what they have, they give of who they are, loving, caring people that sacrificing their lives to improve the lives of others.

People misuse teachings in many ways, from many different sources, people must learn that they are responsible for their own actions, these people are taught that they should never intertwine their old religion with christian teachings. You have stated that you have never read the Bible so I do not expect you to know this, when Paul was setting up churches in Corinth, Galatia and other places after he would move own there were those who wanted to make the church work the way they wanted so they could control the people, Paul revisited and wrote these churches about these wolves and ask the church to get rid of them, he would go into great detail about what was going wrong with the church and how it was not being the christian church God desired it to be. If you want to confirm what I'm stating then read about the two churches I mentioned by name, the books have the same names as I mentioned above. This is one of the reasons we teach the people to read where ever we go so that they can understand what God wants of them and not follow those who would deceive and control them for their own evil desires.

Was not the leaving, things came about that stopped the trip, after that God had me doing other things. No guilty conscience, I was very disappointed and maybe one day it will be possible to go.

I do how ever give of myself here to help those in need and because of it I have many new friends, I could not ask for a greater gift.

I've given time to help the youth of my church, paid for most of their activities because the church would not always help them. Worked with them outside of church functions to help them with problems in their lives. Setup all night on the phone with some trying to help them with problems, even though I had a tournament to fish the next day. Gave money to a single mother because she could not afford to buy a few Christmas presents for her two boys, told her that others in the church gave her the money that I was just delivering the money. Could not count how many times I've repaired heating and air conditioning units for those who could not afford to get them fixed, got a lot of good food for that, great cooks in my church. Many other things that would not be important to nonbelievers, to christians they meant a great deal. Could not count how many times I've been thanked for giving of my time to help others inside and outside the church. Took a young man to the hospital a couple of times even though I knew he was using the church for his own benefit. The toughest thing I did was sell my bass boat and give up tournament fishing to be able to work wit the kids at church, I real loved to fish, the kids however were much more important. Now I guess this is where you will take advantage of the info you asked for and tell me I bragging or that doesn't sound like much, if you find that a need, have your fun.

As far as I know there are no stats on what atheist do, I do know this that the christians I know would not give or condone the giving of guns to other nations, in my personal opinion the non believing gunrunners and those in our government that do this are totally irresponsible.

There are no Yankee christians, we are of the same family no matter where we live. Your language does not support that statement, actually if we were to meet and have a discussion on whatever I do not believe you would make that an exception, but what do I know you are you and will do whatever your heart desires. As I stated above we teach responsibly and can not be held accountable for all the ill actions of others. In some cases it may be justified but that would be few.
