They are greedy.

They could've avoid all this war if they treated Palestinians fairly.
Greed led them to the psychological "superiority" complex; but any person with amateur psychology knowledge knows that superiority complex must hide a hidden "inferiority complex".
They feel scared, weak, don't belong, so they rob lands, carve the Star of David on Muslims:

And believe me, once humans are that psychologically messed up, they begin to make terrible mistakes, like massacres, mass killings, and more fuel to the hate against them.
All because a little politician became greedy, and wanted to rob people.
