Ok, so Trump's so-called 'hush money' trial opens tomorrow (the media should really call it 'the falsification of business records' trial, but that's not nearly as sexy). This mess points out how Trump goes out of his way to be both stupid and illegal. If he had simply sent a big box of cash to Stormy Daniels, he'd be all set, since paying hush money, in and of itself, is not an illegal act.
He's still promising that he'll take the stand. I really hope he does. Not only would it be hugely entertaining, it would also add perjury to his list of bad acts.
