A new Marist poll puts Biden up 50% to 48% (still within the MOE). The reason for the shift seems to be two new questions:
1) Which is more concerning in a president: one that is too old or one that doesn’t tell the truth?
68% of respondents picked ‘one that doesn’t tell the truth.
2) Which candidate has the character you would prefer in a president?
Biden:52%, Trump: 43%.
While this is no more a harbinger of what is to come than any other poll, these questions kind of explain why polls aren’t moving much since the debate.
