I think Christianity is true, even if Islam where to rule the world

Because for arguments sake. If Islam where to be the world dominating religion. The issue is, if 400 years after, that another religion would tell you, that if you dont swear loyalty to this religion then you will burn in hell.

So my argument is, its easier to stick to the OG. Original one, since the foundations adds up to begin with. So why fix something that already is there to begin with?

Although the idea of hell doesnt make much sense if you are young, i guess because you have the world ahead of you. But the whole point is to prevent cults or moral bickering in society. So simply having a religion that keeps you in line is why it exists. Sure it wont prevent wars (Rivalry war with England and France is one example of that). But it does give you a peace of mind. That you are atleast part of a bigger group.


But hey hypocrisy will always be a thing. Whether one is atheist or religious. One example is. Saying people will be more moral without religion, but how can you be that if people bicker over what is wrong or right? obviously its to sell politics. Just like the belief in science is different from learning math or understanding how you make cars.
And in the religious hypocrisy (Dont watch porn... "HAH wrong!")


What do i mean by Belief in Science? Well one typical argument is you just get comfortable not knowing so you let authority figures do it for you. Power corrupts afterall.
So lets take cannabis. Often lobbyists or people who wanna defend it says its healthy for you and used in medicine (Yeah so is alcohol. That doesnt mean you should get super exposed to it)
But either case, they will often cite studies of how it has positive effect on your health. But what they neglect is there is also studies of lung cancer related to cannabis.
Now that study is somewhat sceptical because it is shown they mix nicotine elements in it.

My point is. Rather than say "trust the science". Maybe WAIT and see for 20 years and see how those pure cannabis smokers are doing and then conclude?
In other words. Legalizing it i would do in same way that cigarette smokers gets humiliated by, which is "WARNING LUNG CANCER" only way i would legalize it.

But alas thats enough of my rant. What you think?
