Let me ask you something. When it comes to politics. People are often very tribal. I for example am not biggest fan of Two Party Establishment and prefer Representative Multiparty System. Or there is the blame game of saying someone hates this and that, slurs insults. All the nasty things people say. When one is in that type of world. Then finding comfort in something that people can truly find unification under, to me that sounds like a good deal.

While politics, ideology, tribalism, greed, and a host of other human faults are certainly to blame for their share of suffering you have to go a very long way to find anything that has caused more death and destruction than the wars that have been fought over exactly whose Imaginary Friend gets to be in charge.
