We have actual live coverage here! I have this morbid curiosity to witness this myself, first hand, so i have set up my VCR. Not that i am expecting to be able to endure the whole thing, but lets see how far we get. If im not going to be active after tomorrow, then my head may hve exploded.
Its already hard enough to follow Trumps ramblings in English (and thats not because of a lack of english on my side), its a world of pain. But its a completely new world of pain when you have to suffer Trump being translated live into German during the debate. A few times the interpreter struggeld and finally stopped, because he just couldnt make any sense of Trumps ramblings. I can imagine its hard enough to translate something complicated live like a political debate, to follow the thought of train of someone in order to be able to accurately translate. Now imagine the task when trying to do this with Trump, who isnt coherent most of the time, who does not form gramatically correct sentences mostly. It was brutal, just physically painful. I couldnt stand more than 5min straight, then i had to stop and do something else before continuing.
Really, it was that bad.
