Humor or pushing a stereotype?

I get the joke, However,  It's a baseless harmful lie that's causing real harm tot he Haitian community and we should do our best not to spread it any further.

On the contrary, the ridiculousness of the false charge should be mocked and ridiculed. Humor is a valuable weapon. Its baselessness should be shoved in their face and they should have to answer for it. Not that this forum has many conservatives or Haitians in the audience.

It's tamping, not spreading, is my point. Pointing and laughing is useful.

No, I don't think there is but stereotypes live off of the apathy of those not willing to dispell them.

If I change the tone and said something like" If I had enough money I'd gather all those shelter dogs like a greedy Jew".


Then perhaps you can better understand what I'm getting at.
