So, apparently, holding 120,000 people (many of whom were law-abiding citizens) prisoner for no reason apart from the fact that they had ancestors from Japan is A-OK in your eyes?
And, from what I’ve read, as inexcusable as the whole thing was, life at Manzanar seems like it still would have been better than what I’ve found from today’s border camps. For one thing, I can’t remember reading about women in Manzanar being told to drink out of a toilet bowl.
