God knows how many businesses from California have moved to my neck of the woods, as well as plenty others to other states.
Hard to guess on drug addiction as multiple drugs in California have been decriminalized.
In simplest terms, we do not "care" what happens in California; the political framework of the United States of America allows for each state to operate as essentially it's own nation, and the reality is that issues such as "should criminals be arrested" and "should women kill their own children" *are* questions better left to the people of a community than some politician in D.C. - we can disagree with it in other states and ideally we should stop doing business with places like California, but if Americans can not decide on issues like this then again... states' rights trump all.
As long as California minds it's own business, they are free to be *the worst* nation in the union; hell, they are free to give everyone a free Bentley and a 75,000 square foot mansion - truly do not care, good for them if they do.
But as long as they want to dictate the laws of the rest of us, they will continue to be mocked for all the failures of their state.
Sounds like that’s exactly why all of you lot want to be there - just think of all the poor minority drug addicts seeking reproductive care you’ll get to abuse. Good times, amirite?
