Explain this genetics paradox to me

Regarding the Thai Netflix show Don't Come Home. Don't read the spoilers if you plan on watching it.

I don't think this show thought this through properly.

Time Travel.

Present: Mother Varee has a daughter named Min who disappears.

Past: Mother Panida loses daughter Varee in a car accident.

Min gets sent back to the past, Panida raises the girl as Varee,...who will grow up to give birth to herself?

Yep, that's how it went. And I'm still trying to wrap my head around how such a paradox can even occur.

Because,

When she finds herself as a kid in the past again, she grows up to give birth to herself and the cycle repeats. Herself as the mother in the front seat of the car and herself as a kid in the backseat. Until they both end up getting sent back to the past where the adult version gets killed and the child grows up to give birth to herself again.
