Bergoglio gets a new Popemobile and it's electric
Pope Francis is going all-electric with his papamobile. Shortly before his 88th birthday, the head of 1.4 billion Catholics took delivery of a new vehicle in the Vatican: a custom-built Mercedes-Benz that for the first time drives completely without harmful CO2 emissions.
The all-electric model is a further development of the G580 electric off-road vehicle. With its custom-made gearbox, it can also travel at walking pace over longer distances. The Pope sits practically at the back of the loading area: on a raised chair that can be rotated. This allows him to point and wave in all directions. There is an attachment for bad weather.

Which he will immediately sell and give all the money to the poor, saying, "Jesus didn't need shoes so I don't need a car, and neither do I need to be narcissistically displayed in an expensive car like a clown."

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
