A charity which broadcasts its faith makes me wonder where its priorities are, helping the indigent or plumping their religion. I don't find it surprising that a nonreligious charity wouldn't advertise its irreligiosity. After all, that might cut down donations from believers who would rather steer their money to charities of their own stripe.
