So they believe that the only way to get to heaven is believing in Jesus, period. No matter how much you feed the poor, heal the sick, or anything else Jesus wanted people to do will get you to heaven if you don't believe in him. Further, once you have accepted Jesus as your personal buddy, you don't need to feed the poor, heal the sick, or any of that liberal hippy crap.
