Faith No More Wrote:Which is why you will never be taken seriously outside of your circle of faith. Skepticism isn't something you arbitrarily apply to one thing but not another. An equal amount of skepticism should applied to your holy book, but you swallow it whole without question. And yes, science does change its mind, because it is constantly being refined. The followers of your holy book, however, are content with sticking to their guns despite all of the contray evidence.
who are you to say what i have or haven't done? i have considered both sides and i find cosmology to be more ridiculous. if you had a PHD in christian theology and decided it was wrong, then i would have respect for what you have to say. i consider both points or i would not be here.
as for you rhythm, i have already discussed christians who do what is not biblical. that does not contradict my own beliefs or that of the bible. they are outside both.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
