if you read the bible you would know that a man did not do this. God did it. i'm not saying God did it because i don't have the answer, but because that is the answer that was already written down in the bible.
RW_9 Wrote:Many christians use the idea of a "new covenant" to try to explain away much of the Old Testament. Nevermind that the heinous invention known as hell didn't come around until little 'ol meek and mild Jesus frolicked onto the scene.
again, you should read the bible. hell was mentioned before the time of Jesus. Deuteronomy 32:22, psalm, proverbs, etc. and hell is simply the absence of everything that is good. when you take everything good from this world all you have left is hell.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
