Sure. Many Roman Catholics go on pilgrimages. To Rome, Lourdes, Santiago de Compostella, etc. etc. etc. All places where 'miracles' are supposed to have happened. Usually apparitions of Mary. Or graves of saints (and they have almost 6,000 of those now...).

Their badgering you certainly isn't 'polite' – especially if you have made it clear that you are a non-believer and don't want to go. So imo it's time to stop being 'polite', time to stop being 'nice', because that M.O. clearly doesn't register. It's time to say: "Listen, I've tried to be polite about this but you won't listen, so I'll say this one more time: FUCK OFF ABOUT THIS PILGRIMAGE/HERITAGE TRIP!" And then walk away.
If that person starts about it again I'd tell them I will stop seeing them because of this. And then effectively cut them off.
If they nevertheless keep searching you out to get you to go, I'd punch them.
Who wants to go to a fascist country that is about to start WWIII?
