That's extremely valid. Clearly mine is not a view shared by many, no harm in that. Don't mean to get peoples backs up, I tried to go out of my way to say I wasn't demanding or insisting that it should be heeded, simply my view on it.
Like I said, a muslim playing up to the stereotype of being a bomber can be funny, but misinterpreted by the ignorant. I don't think its helpful, nor an icebreaker in that specific instance.
A lot of people seem to be taking this view as about humour in general when that couldn't be further from the truth.
On reflection, perhaps there is much to be said that it has little effect and we will be tarred with the brush regardless of what we actually say.
