I agree 100% with Paul. Religious talk doesn't offend me (unless someone has the gall to tell me that I'm going to burn in hell, don't have morals, or some crap like that) but I do get a bit uncomfortable around it. But it really annoys the hell out of me that I know that my views on religion aren't welcomed or wanted by those who believe in magical beings, and I always have to hold my tongue when others are talking religion. I have no illusions about not being a second-class citizen if my atheism were to be public knowledge. Even among family I often have to keep my beliefs to myself since the fact that I don't believe in their delusion causes offense to them.
