If people feel guilt it is because of their conscience, ethics and morals, not disbelief in God or sin.
Quote:Because the realities of the situation places all of us in the same boat we are all sinners to an equal degree,
How are we all sinners to an EQUAL degree?? So a lawful citzen is exactly as sinful as a mass murderer? I thought God was just??
Quote:in that we are condemned to eternal separation from God because of our sin.
Christianity labels us as born sinners, which places us automatically in separation from "God", and only Jesus and the church can save you. What if you don't believe you are a born sinner in the first place, you have never been separated from this "God thing", and don't need Jesus to save you? Wouldn't that just be easier and more natural? Wouldn't this remove a large burden of unnecessary guilt that is pre-imposed on the so-called "sinner"?
