That is a pretty weak position as it has zero bearing on whether or not they worshiped a volcano GOD. And sorry, Jeral Al Lawz is definitely not Mt Sinai.
Quote:@TheJackel, your volcanic field has not been active for nearly 10,000 years, that means Moses and the Israelites were about 6,500 years to late.

TJ Wrote:I didn't specify a specify field.. There are several fields available.. Hence, which field are you speaking of? The subject does not rest with any particular volcanic field... Worse yet, you have no evidence to even show 600,000 people making said trek.. The evidence for that would be quite substantial. And yet there is a total lack of evidence for that.

However, it's a good chance that exodus is based on actual eruption event some time in the regions history. What's interesting is that Exodus has a strong connection with the Volcano eruption of Santorini.. That eruption happened sometime around 1500 BC to which is right at the same time Exodus supposedly happened. There is a very high probability that the Exodus was a story either influenced by this super volcanic eruptions or actually stemming from it directly. Moses likely didn't exist, and exodus from Egypt told as is in the bible likely never actually happened. ... And it fits the time period..... And it's interesting how people worshiped volcano GOD's during this time period.

Search all the volcanoes in Saudi Arabia I found that none erupted from around 8,000 BC to 200 AD, this would eliminate volcano worship in that area during the writing of the Bible.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
