3) He condones beating slaves to an extent where they die a few days after the beating
And yes, there are bible quotes that say all of these things, and worse. Also, don't go bitching about context, because all of these 3 are despicable no matter where or why they are said or done.

Have you read the opening post?
Quote:As far as the topic of conversation being discussed...I maintain that morality is universal. It's not. Go outside of your culture or even with in your culture to a different time and everything changes.
Quote:Killing and murdering is, always has been, and always will be immoral, and has always been considered as such which is why all societies all the way back to the caveman eras did not just wantonly murder one another and why the earliest laws always tended to start with "don't kill each other."Not true every major society has condoned or even made it moral to kill people outside of a given race or social structure.
Quote:The RANGE of those moralities has certainly changed, sure...and for the better. There's a reason we call primitive humans "barbarians."Barbarians was a term to simply describe anyone not Greek, for they mocked the sounds of unsophisticated languages "Bar, bar, bar" It's just a racial slang built on prejudice.
Quote:If killing people is wrong, is killing an ape or a pig wrong? If not, why?Killing people is not wrong in the correct context. Murder is wrong.
