Population size of our world 2000 years ago < Current Population
Countries in power/dominant 2000 years ago < Current
Do the math jackass, of course an increase in poverty, famine, wars etc. has happened....I can make that same prediction of mankind, that even by today's standards, all of them will increase in just the next 500 years. Does that make me a prophet? Of course not, just takes a little common sense through observation of our surroundings.
