If the bible has said when it would run dry giving the actual year, then that would be impressive, but just to say that it will is meaningless. After all, a river can't keep flowing forever can it? So therefore there must come a time when it will run dry.

Why would John give an exact year when the Euphrates would run dry? Jesus said, 'No one knows of that hour or day", but "Watch for these signs".

This is no more prophetic than claiming the Sun will be eclipsed by the moon or night follows day.

How so? Claiming the Sun will be eclipsed by the moon is one thing, but to say a river will run dry is another. I don't think you understand the significance of the Euphrates River in the times of Revelations.

I prophecise that the River Thames will flood. I'm not saying when but it will do one day. And when it does, either today, tomorrow or in a thousand years you can all look back at this text and claim it to be divine and sacred!

Of course it's easy to say a river can possibly flood, but to say it will run dry is a fulfilled prophecy. Anyone that reads the bible with a critical eye knows that John spoke directly to God in dreams and visions. But atheists claim John was a delusional lunatic. Well, this lunatic said the euphrates will run dry before the end of time.

Put on your seatbelts... armageddon is close at hand. We are the generation that will witness the coming of Christ.
