It cracks me up when we get twits who point to recent disasters and tell us it's "a sign of the end times". No, idiot. It's just stuff that has been going on for thousands of years. Imagine if half the population suddenly dropped dead. Is that a sign of the end? Well, that's what happened in the 14th century with the Black Plague. The planet managed to continue on. What about a war encompassing most every nation on Earth? What about a genocide that killed millions? What about the development and use of an explosive device that destroyed not one, but two cities? Does that sound like the end? Well, that was WWII and the planet survived.
Dopes like this seem to think that there have never been natural and manmade disasters before. Wake up and read some history. The only way "the end" is coming is when the sun blows up into a red giant and incinerates everything on the planet.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
