The courts ruled that circumcision amounted to unneeded bodily mutilation, calling it "assault".
Reading through the thread, it seems that the reason for the ruling was that cultural rights < Bodily rights.
Being able to choose for yourself what you do with your wangalang is quite the choice. One doesn't simply grow back foreskin.
Hmmph. Assault, made by a doctor? That's new, and given the fact that circumcision was practiced by our immigrants(and the Jews) who stayed in Germany for decades. But I don't really expect you people to understand what circumcision means to us. Of course, it's their country. Their courts may say anything they want to. Will that stop us from circumcising our children?
No. Each year, our immigrants take a plane back to Turkey for vacation. They can just get them circumcised there. Which again proves how useless the court ruling is. It will be overturned soon enough.
