The original Christianity wasn't influenced by paganism, apostate Christianity beginning primarily in the later part of the 4th century C.E. was.

Did you know Catholics executed children because they were playing with pagan statues?
Ironic really seeing as many of their beliefs and religious events came from pagan beliefs.

Its a good point. The Catholics are notorious as far as children go in more ways than one. A naked lady popping out of a cake, for example, was first practiced by a Catholic Pope, only the naked people popping out of the cake were boys.
