And he western Christians that do it due to health benefits do it because of misinformation and tradition(mostly Americans continuing what the military forced on them) of the past.

Besides, I don't believe that a harmless procedure such as circumcision shoud be filed as an assault on the bodily rights of a child, whatsoever.
But it's your call, of course. Such bans are ineffective, and will not hinder anyone from seeking a hospital which provides this procedure elsewhere.
