Believing in god is like believing in Batman because the only evidence that either exist is solely in the pages of books written by humans.
A belief in Batman and a belief in your deity are equally valid for that reason. Unless... can you provide some other evidence for the existence of either? If so, please do share, but I won't be holding my breath.
