Well it felt like I was possessed, certainly, it did. I had hallucinations that first seemed positive, as if I saw Prophets and dead believers (the barzakh), and special the 12 Imams, in spiritual form, (can't explain it)...then came later negative experiences, including possession from "Jinn".
It took me a long time to realize what I experienced was a hallucination, and not truly in the realms of hidden reality....but I do remember the possession feeling going away once the man came and recite verses and made me look at his ring with a stone with the name of God on it. Then he insisted the devil/jinn in me is killed. Some people have a gift in creating placebo.
It works sometimes, it doesn't work other times. And they make a living out of it.
