I see it that way in wiki articles sometimes, and in very few history books, but normally it's the way you people unthought to do it 500 or so years after the deity that you people worship was invented.

It was Greeks: Crucible of Civilization, by PBS in 2000. We know absolutely nothing about when/if jesus of Nazareth was born. We know when Herod died because there is a historical record. The fact that you have to use the historical records of other people to surmise when your demigod was born just shows that you don't know anything. You're just guesstimating.
