Please dont say you're talking about this...
Levitucus 14:3-4 (NIV)
“The priest is to go outside the camp and examine him. If the person has been healed of his infectious skin disease the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the one to be cleansed”
Note that the ….”if the person has BEEN healed” part comes before the ritual cleansing done - after a person has ALREADY deemed cured.
So its not the ritual which cures the leprosy.
Heres the KJV
“And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.”
Note that the priestly sacrifice (thanks giving) and ritual cleansing AFTER the person’s leprosy had already left them, also includes washing the persons’ CLOTHES.
You understand that clothing never died of leprosy dont you?
You're a fucking dolt. Instead of assuming that I have never read the Bible and endeavor to 'catch' me in some sort of ignorance...why don't you go read the entirety of Leviticus 14. For your stupid retort to have any meaning you now have to convince me that the priests must only carry out the ridiculous sacrifice for those found 'clean' of leprosy. So much for the germ theory of disease; apparently your God didn't know of this back in the day.
I understand that clothing never died of leprosy, but here's a little bit of trivia for you and your sky-cunt...nobody dies from leprosy!!!!
