I can't help but nitpick this one. Your parents would probably beg to differ. They may have just installed this compass after the fact (to varying degrees of success). The next time a child writes a veritable opus on morality and ethics you just give me a call...okay? Meanwhile I'm going to direct your attention to the overwhelming majority of children that engage in hand to hand combat (as well as armed conflict) on a routine basis while smearing shit all over their bedroom walls at some point or another. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled if kids came with a moral compass factory standard - so long as it doesn't resemble your own and so long as it isn't fueled by fucking magic......
