Oh wow, I remember the first time I watched that film. I mean I knew there was something going on that I couldn't quite put my finger on but then the screen scrolls down her naked body; "slightly larger than average shoulders but we can work with that... unusually small breasts but nevermind... what this? Oh... ok. Yeah, the rest of it kind of makes sense now."
I must of awoken the entire street with the words "I fucking knew it!"

What movie?

1992 British film called "The Crying Game".
Basically this IRA guy (Stephen Rea) befriends a black British solider (Forest Whitaker) while he holds him in captivity. British solider makes him swear on his honour that if he is killed that he look after his partner. (Jaye Davidson) IRA guy agrees. Then hes given the order to execute him in the woods. The IRA guy can't do it and the solider runs off. IRA gives chase only for the soldier to be mown down by a British patrol. All the IRA people in his cell are captured or killed by the patrol except for him. He fucks off to England and blends in.

He looks for the woman and forms a relationship with her of sorts... only to find out shes abit more than she seems. Suffice to say I laughed my ass off when he found out. Serves him fucking right for attempting to take advantage was my reaction.
Anyway, shit gets pretty complicated after that and I don't want to spoil anymore of the plot.
Its a good film, covers a large variety of taboos and complex emotions. Highly recommend it.

Genuinely not sure if you're referring to me or grene because I have to admit I'm something of a narcissist. I'd rather it wasn't about me because I hold your opinion in high regard but another part of me hopes you are talking about me solely because I've always wanted to be called "the boy wonder".
