Are we atheists just as bad as religious people?

I don't think we atheists are as bad as fundamentalists although as in everywhere else there are a few exceptions.When I am asked by a Christian about Christ I tell them right from the start that I am an atheist and am not interested,some walk away and some challenge me.I feel that the same way they have the right to defend their beliefs I have the right to defend my unbelief.I am anti-religions of any and all kinds and patriotism.I am American but even in public places I don't stand up for the national anthem nor do I recite the pledge of allegiance to the american flag.I was a vet and I have seen the dirty side of government up close so I think I have earned the right to be non patriotic.Although,I feel horrible about all our vets though that have fallen prey to the american bullshit stories and are deployed out to Iraq,Afghanistan etc. to defend a lie.

I don't love my country I love my family and my life that is all.
