Theres no reason to think the "marijuana cure" had anything to do with the curing of the brain cancer. Is there any research being done into it that conclusively proves it does or what?
Fuck no. There is no research saying it cures cancer or anything of the sort. Yes, a woman actually said that marijuana can make cancerous tumors go away. It's that kind of misinformation that discredits arguments. Marijuana is an amazing medication. It is not a miracle cure.
I know it helps with some conditions but I think people really do get carried away.
Heard it helped with asthma and alzheimer's at some point but I'm fairly certain thats bullshit.
I'd type it in on google but I don't want that type of shit on my search history for... reasons I'm not going to go into.

Yes, alot of people have studied it and they seem confident marijuana can certain forms of cure cancer, the big problem is getting funding and getting legal permission to have enough marijuana to do proper testing
Quote:The study concluded that via the same biochemical process THC could terminate multiple types of cancers, affecting various cells in the body. Other studies have shown that cannabinoids may work by various mechanisms, including inhibiting cell growth, inducing cell death, and inhibiting tumor metastasis.
What is amazing is that while cannabinoids effectively target and kill cancerous cells, they do not affect healthy, normal cells and may actually protect them against cellular death. Moreover, cannabinoids are also researched for their pain-modulation and anti-inflammatory abilities as they bind to special receptors in the brain, much like opioid derivatives that are commonly prescribed today.

Thats interesting. I can't find another source that confirms this. You would of thought that would be more heavily publicized on bigger sites and news programs considering the importance behind it.
Why isn't it?
