There's no reason to expect that we always get what we need or deserve. This life tells us different.
Unfortunately, the fantasy afterlife created by religion can do whatever it wants, so if it is said to give 'justice', it will do just that. Too bad biblical justice means hell for atheists, people of other religions, homosexuals, blasphemers of the holy spirit, etc.
