It's probably hormonal. Being pregnant and ending a pregnancy really screw with hormones and testosterone is what causes some men (and even the occasional woman) to go bald. I'm guessing your testosterone levels spiked a little after you gave birth but then went back to normal.
Y'know, this entire thread about feminism turned into a thread with three women talking about hair. Fuck. We're falling right into the stereotype, aren't we?
