It never fails to amuse me... the assumption that God must answer prayer and with the answer you want, or prayer failed.

I have to admit, "God" is very consistent. Just like the Gospels, the only testimonies I've got of healings through prayer after 5 years at a Pentecostal church are through hearsay. I never once saw even the common cold get healed before me.

Me neither. But then how would you see such a thing? I believe such a thing has never been proved. Should I say it again? - If it could be proved, that would be contrary to our understanding of the Xtian God. So yeah, there's no win for you there.

So your desire at church was unbiblical.
