When you prayed did it ever work?

I feel sad for people who dont experience the happiness of prayer/meditiation/soul searching/transcendence.....communion with God.

awwe yes, "communion with god."

I'd almost forgotten that hilarious bit of phrasing.

20 years I spent as a christian. Never once did god communicate with me. (Remember communication is a TWO way street, not a one way alley on your knees.)


And before you go posting your pathetic responses, I'll just go ahead and do it for you ...

#1 Argument: You weren't a True Christian.
Well I have my ID badge, do you have yours?
I can assure you, I was legit. I walked down the aisle many times, got my heart right with god many times, did communion and went forward while the congregation sang, "...is your all on the altar ..." many many times. I was as legitimate and you can fucking get.

#2 Argument: You weren't Seeking hard enough.
Drich and GC are always shooting off their mouths with this one. "You have to SEEK god, you have to seek god. Seek Seek Seek. God won't speak to you unless you seek and seek and seek." A filthy apologists pathetic copout. 20 Fucking years I wanted to know god and "feel" him speak to me. I mean I REALLY wanted to know and understand. Either their god needs to wake the fuck up and realize I only have a limited amount of years to live, or he don't exist. All evidence points to the latter.

You see their god can't exist.
"Seek and ye shall find." Nope. Total Lie.
"Move mountains with the faith of a mustard seed." Nope. Untrue.
"Whatever you ask in my name." Nope. Total Outright Lie.

If you pray to a being you have never seen or heard for things like daily council and good decision making you are a stupid fucking imbecile ... just like I once was as a child.
