Who knows. Drinking? "Inter-faith" is the new political buzzword (at least in the UK), so you see all sorts of different folk in different religious buildings nowadays. It's not uncommon to see Jewish community leaders in mosques and vice versa in cities where their 'communities' interact, or when another conflict arises in the middle east.

Or maybe he was just there to tell the church goers that their belief was childlike?
