(First off this rant is not aimed at anybody, and secondly this is not about a God/dess or God/desses is about their followers in general)
I had to get this off my chest, it's been brewing for a while.
The reasons why I hate religion are:
1. Religious arrogance:
2. Religious stubbornness:
3. Religious intolerance:
4. Religious indoctrination:
5. Religious claims:
6. Religious greed: This section is more about the leaders than the followers or doctrines or the more humble preachers (or equivalent) who pay that money back into the community.
Last but not least
7. Religious stupidity: This really rattles me.
ok rant over, I hide the sections so you did not get a wall of text as I is quite a long rant. Like I said before this is not about a deity (something for a whole other rant) this is about religions in general and some of these may or may not apply to all of them. This is my view/critic on religion as a whole and on the human side and this is nothing personal so only some may or not apply to you but don't worry it's not a personal attack (I thought I would say that again before somebody take it the wrong way). And if you feel insulted then consider this as emotional barren training, for when you have to face something like this in the future. And again please don't take it personally, This is me vent my frustration with this world.
Also before Either side starts, this in not based on any facts or educational value, this is me venting and I have done 0 research for this. so don't call me on any facts however if you do want to add some education value feel free, just don't have a go at me for venting.

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful" - Edward Gibbon (Offen misattributed to Lucius Annaeus Seneca or Seneca the Younger) (Thanks to apophenia for the correction)

Know more about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you' - Neil deGrasse Tyson
