I have no clue of what a catylist is, but I hope you didn't express your racist thoughts back then towards your black bullies. It would have given them a reason to beat you up.

A catalyst is something that speeds up a given reaction.
For example, all Diesel powered cars are required to have a catalyst which breaks up the harmful particles that these engines throw out, in an attempt to keep the air clean(er).... or speeds up the process of breaking htem up enough for them to exit out the tail pipe in a non-toxic form.

Drich required the help of his imaginary friend to change himself. Some people require it... let them be.... pay them no mind.
