What is "socialism" to you?
Back in my day, when I was a Reagan-idolizing Republican, "socialism" was a specific economic and political model. It mean in theory "worker's control" but in reality was "government control" of ALL private enterprise. You didn't call someone a "socialist" unless they used that label for themselves, and it wasn't a pejorative but a identification like "liberal" or "conservative".
These days "socialism" has become a shrill insult screamed at anyone to the left of Libermann.
