When was Sweden transformed to socialism?

Socialist ideas had been around since the early 1920's and really took root around the 60's. Since the 90's, however, privatization started gaining ground again.

I'm sure there are a significant percentage of lunatics in every country who think Ron Paul's ideas are sound.

My point was that free market principles were are once again taking root in Sweden.

Now, the US has a privat provider healthcare system, or at least what comes closest to a liberterian ideal of a health care system...............

Yet the Libertarian position is not the same and fixes the flaws in the current system.

And we still have a social healthcare system which works.

Do you? Remember how you were on the brink of financial shortfall in 2009? Your government is raising taxes to make up for it. Your two-tier system is terrible. 10 percent are privately insured- mostly the rich- and the other 90 have to pay for healthcare for the rest of the nation (and the chronically ill cannot get private insurance very easily). Costs are increasing and increasing and increasing. The "solutions" your politicians are providing fail to meet the problem, and there is little prospect of an easy cost limitation plan in the future.

You might be a 'liberal' who thinks health care is important, but you are wrong, very wrong!
Why?
Because it is obvious from all the threads that 'right wing' Americans post on they are not aware there is anybody else in the world.

I have a hard time thinking that is not directed towards me. How exactly do I ignore the rest of the world when I cite examples of socialist countries and the downfalls of their systems?
